Meet Bronwyn
Core Energetics Practitioner
I am a young woman on a healing journey who has taken some wrong turns, some dead-ends, climbed some mountains, and is still walking my path. I love sharing what I have learned along the way. After many years of suffering and pain, of joy and frustration, I became my own healer. And you can, too. I have studied with and been blessed with many gifted healers in my life. All of them reminded me what I needed to heal and grow, and that seed was already inside of me, like it’s inside of you.
My goal is to work with you to discover your own healing wisdom, and to encourage it to bloom like a flower in spring.
I am in the process of becoming certified in Core Energetics, a somatic therapy modality. I have been training at the Seattle School of Body Psychotherapy for 3 years. My supervisor and teacher is Aylee Welch.
Offerings
Nature-Based Healing
My office is nestled in the redwoods in Occidental, and that is because I work outdoors with the healing power of the earth. This looks like slowing down and listening to what the natural world around us has to offer us— insight, health, reflection, rest. We may play in the forest, give offerings to the trees, sing songs with the birds, and lie on the earth.
Song & Ceremony
Song can lead to ceremony, a
way to make meaning out of an experience, a way to give thanks, a way to mourn. I use sacred ceremony to connect with both my own healing wisdom and that of mother earth. We can create ceremony and ritual together.
Food & Body Healing
I offer my own story of finding food and body freedom,
sharing the practices that helped me. With a focus on nourishment, I encourage
women to connect with their intuition and their bodies’ wisdom to allow for peace and ease around food and body image.
One-on-one Core Energetics:
Starting with what you’re struggling with in
your life, we work together to find the underlying reasons keeping you in that struggle. This looks like gentle movement and expressive work, body awareness exercises, conversation, laughter and tears.
